EDWIN: The New Resource to Support Educators From K-12

Edwin is a new, online resource, purchased by DBS1, designed to support teachers with curriculum planning. Edwin contains resources, engaging lessons, and assessment materials. Available to all teachers from K-12, Edwin is a digital resource that is aligned to curriculum expectations across many subject areas.

Learning with Edwin

  • Edwin supports the learning environment with many features, such as the self-assessment, prompting students to actively think about and assess their understanding of the content. UDL practices are built right in, with the interactive tools easily accessible to allow teachers to incorporate them into lessons.

Inclusive Environment

  • Edwin offers many opportunities for teachers to provide differentiated instruction and accommodations for their students. The built-in read aloud feature supports students when they are accessing the verbal content and the interactive tools support kinesthetic and visual learners. Edwin also allows teachers to share material with their students digitally, allowing them to provide materials that are at the appropriate level for each student.

Creative Implementation

  • Edwin offers multiple opportunities for teachers to share learning with their classes. Whole group lessons, small group support, independent work, collaborative conversations; Edwin offers an opportunity for all of this and more throughout each lesson!

Give Edwin a try and reach out to a Learning Coach for more support.
