Morphology
This page provides background information and resources for understanding and teaching morphology.
Morphology is the study of the structure and form of words, focusing on how morphemes (the smallest units of meaning) combine to create words and how those words are used.
Morphology supports vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and understanding grammatical structures in language.
